The Story
The Goatman is a classic monster mystery intertwined with a family horror drama. What is supposed to be an emotional reunion turns into a night of terror. Centering on a dysfunctional set of siblings and their significant others, the movie explores the dangers of letting resentments fester during the course of a horrifying supernatural attack. Inspired by fragments of various legends, The Goatman introduces new mythical attributes and lore to the ancient, terrifying cryptid.
The Cast
The story centers around a small family and all the events of the film occur over the course of a single night. So we worked with a small, tight-knit cast & crew that quarantined for the entire duration of the shoot.
The Production
The filming of this project took place in February 2021 in the desert east of San Diego. This project is funded by generous donations from friends, families, and indie horror fans!!
